RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Return & Exchange
*We accept returns or exchanges for unused, non-sale items in their unopened, unwashed, original condition, with tags and packaging intact, within: 14 days of delivery
*All returns are for store credit or exchange only.
To initiate a return, please email info@lightbulblighthouse.com with your order number and reason for return. A Return Authorization Number is required for all returns. Unsolicited or unauthorized returns will not be accepted/processed.
Once inspected and approved, we will issue store credit or process an exchange. Items must be shipped within 7 days of receiving return authorization. If return/exchange is not approved, a re-shipping fee will apply.
Return Shipping

All return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.

Use a trackable or insured shipping service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

For exchanges, a re-shipping fee will apply.
*For returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping and the original shipping fee, which will be deducted from any credit issued.
* Products on sale or purchased during a promotion are final sale, no returns or exchanges are accepted!
The original shipping fee will be communicated when Return Authorization Number is sent. We are not liable for the loss of the returned item in transit. We recommend sending your package with a trackable service.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:

All sale, discounted, or promotional items, including those purchased with a promo/discount code

Special Orders, including most furniture and extended lead-time items

Bedding, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, teethers, pacifiers, rugs, diaper/changing bags and pads (for sanitary reasons)

Undergarments, gift cards, perishable goods, magazines, and certain personal care items
Items returned opened, damaged, or missing original packaging will not be approved/accepted for return/exchange. This does not apply to Special Orders, which are always final sale.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
*Upon Delivery
Please inspect all packages immediately upon receipt.

Do not refuse delivery even if the box appears damaged. Often, the contents are well protected, and a replacement part may resolve the issue.

*We cannot process damage claims without original packaging, timely notice, and supporting photographs.
Replacements
We will gladly provide replacement items or parts at no additional charge for products that are defective or damaged during shipping.
Please email info@lightbulblighthouse.com to initiate a replacement request.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be cancelled before they are packed and shipped, subject to a 3–5% cancellation fee to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.

Special Orders cannot be cancelled once placed with the supplier.

Once an order has shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.
PRODUCTION VARIATIONS
Many of our products are handmade or small-batch. As such, slight variations in colour, grain, texture, or finish are expected and are not considered defects. These differences make each piece unique.
We source products made from natural products when possible. The variation in these products are considered features rather than defects.
PRICE MATCHING
We do not offer price matching. We price our products fairly and in alignment with each manufacturer’s suggested retail price. As a small business, we are unable to offer the lowest price guarantee.
